Honors RSW: iDLR I - Introduction to Digital Legal Research
If you are a 1st semester Honors student who thinks Googling is the alpha & omega when it comes to digital legal research, this class is for you. Even if you are a 1st semester Honors student who knows there is more to this type of research, this class is for you (iDLR is, after all, a Legal Practice course requirement).
This class will show you how to use subscription digital databases (think Bloomberg Law, Lexis Advance, Westlaw Next) to make your life easier this semester and beyond. In the fall you will take a second iDLR class that will focus more closely on some of the advanced ways to use these digital tools throughout law school and in your future legal career.
Please make sure you have created your Westlaw and Lexis Advance accounts and bring your sign-on info. to class.
Advance registration is required. If you register for a session and cannot attend, please remember to cancel your reservation.
If no one registers for this class, it will be canceled 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time.
If you register for this class and find that you will be unable to attend, please use the appropriate link in the confirmation email (from firstname.lastname@example.org) to cancel your registration. Doing so will open a seat for a classmate who otherwise might not have been able to attend.
