iDLR: Introduction to Digital Legal Research In-Person

If you are a 1L who thinks Googling is the alpha & omega when it comes to digital legal research, this class is for you.  Even if you are a 1L who knows there is more to this type of research, this class is for you (iDLR is, after all, a Legal Practice course requirement).

This class will show you how to use subscription digital databases (think Bloomberg Law, Lexis Advance, Westlaw) to make your life easier this semester and beyond.  In the spring you will take a second iDLR class that will focus more closely on some of the advanced ways to use these digital tools throughout law school and in your future legal career.

Advance registration is required. If you register for a session and cannot attend, please remember to cancel your reservation.

If no one registers for this class, it will be canceled 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time.

If you register for this class and find that you will be unable to attend, please use the appropriate link in the confirmation email (from reference@nyls.edu) to cancel your registration.  Doing so will open a seat for a classmate who otherwise might not have been able to attend.
